WIP - Sequel to "Market Dancer"

Ha!  I don't have a name for this one yet, so, I just call it 'the sequel'!  This commissioned painting is a follow up to the last belly dancing centaur painting, "Market Dancer" and takes place 5 or 6 years later when the young apprentice centaur, having learned well from her teacher, is called for a private performance before the royal Caliph!  This painting is still a work in progress and if you like, you can view the progression as I work on this from concept to finish here;   WIP Belly Dancer thread

Here is a current photo of the unfinished painting.  Please do check out the link above and leave your comments on the thread!

WIP - A Chance Find (bathers)

This has been an ongoing work in progress that is undergoing quite a bit of changing and correcting.  Here is a progression of photos from the current state of the painting back to the beginning!  I will update this same post as new work is added to this painting.  In reverse order showing  the full painting view...

The two above show the new face on the female centaur and a bit of refining of her body

On The Easel - update

I worked on these two 5x5s a bit today...see, I did cloth them!  Ha!  I often sketch in my figures in the buff simply because it is easier to get the form right if I don't worry about clothes!  Once I'm happy with how the bodies are looking, then I can decide how to dress them.

....and another short session and they are starting to take shape.  I will have to go back over the backgrounds - they are just blocked in and need detailing yet.  Long ways to go still.
