This big palomino quarterhorse was all tensed up ready to explode into action, but, still as a statue, waiting for the calf to break from the chute and his rider to let him run! This is from a photograph I shot a few years ago at a local team roping practice.
Love your graphite sketches! They would be finished pieces of art for other people!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I used to do more finished graphite work, many years ago! I'm really rusty at it now and thought this sketchbook would be a good way to get back into it. I'm not selling any of the sketches from this book...my plan is to keep them all together, but, once I feel a little more adept at the graphite work, I'll try some full sized pieces that will be for sale. Kerry
